SACD — Rue Ballu

Historic houses for a creative institution

Archive reference

SACD — Rue Ballu

Place and programme

The home of the Société des Auteurs et Compositeurs Dramatiques brings six Parisian buildings together around an 800-square-metre garden. Archy's work concerns the restoration and reorganisation of this ensemble of townhouses and offices. The challenge is to support the everyday life of a cultural institution while retaining the character of the places it inhabits.

Existing conditions, construction stages, drawings and design views from the practice’s portfolio and archives.
